Introducing Portals to Wonder–Surrealium's Signature Art Collection

Portals to Wonder redefines the boundaries of what art can be—a translation of the ineffable, an exploration of the true nature of reality. It is a journey into the core of being, where the artist, through capturing visions in transcendental meditation, extends an invitation—to witness the grandeur of existence through the lens of profound, mystical experiences, carefully documented in the motifs of the collection.

Exodus of the Enchanted - SURREALIUM

“Exodus of the Enchanted” is a canvas of departure, an epic tapestry where other-dimensional creatures depart from pandemonium, symbolizing our collective and primal urge to survive amidst the chaos of life. It illustrates not an escape but an evolution, a transition from chaos into the tranquility of new realms, a procession towards enlightenment.

The Ark - SURREALIUM

"The Ark" emerges as a visual symphony of hope and survival, its serene blues and verdant greens weaving a tale of resilience amidst tumultuous seas. This piece serves as an ode to mankind's ceaseless quest for salvation and understanding in a world fraught with peril, illuminating the artist's contemplation on collective endurance and the indomitable human spirit.

Fatherly Sorrow - SURREALIUM

“Fatherly Sorrow” is a hand-painted marvel, its tempestuous crimsons and smoldering umbers a testament to the raw edges of human emotion, marking the beginning of the artist’s journey into the chasm of personal loss and universal truths.

The Fight for Innocence - SURREALIUM

“The Fight for Innocence” captures the perennial struggle between light and darkness. It is a visual symphony of the battle that rages within, a half-dance, half-duel where virtue and vice are eternally entwined in an intricate ballet of existence.

Metamorphosis - SURREALIUM

"Metamorphosis" captures the essence of transformation with its vibrant juxtaposition of colors and forms, symbolizing the journey of change and rebirth. It delves into the heart of adaptation and growth, portraying the artist's introspection on the cyclical nature of life and the beauty inherent in becoming.

Our artworks are created in our private atelier, surrounded by 1800s art on a secluded island in the Baltic Sea, just an hour's boat ride from Stockholm, Sweden.

The Goddess of Time - SURREALIUM

“The Goddess of Time” presides over the passage of moments, a regal figure robed in the cosmos itself. Her dominion reminds us that time is both a construct and a reality, a dimension that the artist traverses, exploring the infinite loop where past, present, and future converge in the silent tick of the eternal clock.

Damian Ardestani, widely known as XOV, is the creator of "Portals to Wonder" and the lead artist of the Surrealium atelier in Stockholm, Sweden.
