About the Work

"The Split" stands as a profound exploration of transcendence and the duality of existence. Through the painting, we witness the pivotal moment of separation as a spiritual interdimensional being emerges from the primal flesh. It is a vivid portrayal of the ascension from the corporeal to the ethereal, a visual metaphor for the shedding of physical constraints.

Rendered with a striking contrast between the tangible and the surreal, the composition pulls the viewer into the intensity of spiritual awakening. The primal form, reminiscent of earthly ties, contorts and merges with an enlightened figure that radiates a sense of newfound liberation.

This piece serves as a meditation on mysticism and the journey of enlightenment — the courageous step out of the physical shell to embrace our innate spiritual essence. "The Split" captures not just a moment, but the very act of transformation, inviting reflection on the profound layers of our being.
